No tengo palabras para describir este libro. Me resulto una lectura excelente y por sobre todas las cosas una experiencia de aprendizaje en algo sobre lo que siempre quise profundizar, la mitologia nordica.

Pero, empecemos por el principio, no?

Neil Gaiman se dedico a que este libro sea una manera de acercar historias que estuvieron perdidas durante mucho tiempo al publico general y hacerlo de una manera que resultara atractivo para cualquier lector. La forma en la que cuenta las historias es verdaderamente como si la estuvieras escuchando narrada alrededor de un gran fogon. Y ese tambien era el objetivo del autor al escribir este libro: que las historias quedaran en la memoria de sus lectores y siguieran contandose, y de esta manera, perduraran en el tiempo.

Fuera de lo que es la manera de escribir, los cuentos son excelentes. Como no van a serlo cuando se tratan de aventuras epicas de dioses que finalizan con moralejas? Ademas me gusto mucho la manera en la que esta ordenado, guiando al lector desde los primeros dias del universo hasta Ragnarok y el final de los tiempos.
Simplemente, un libro excelente.
